Electrical Propulsion System Engineer

Job Description

You are assisting in developing the ETN200's electric propulsion system, either on the hardware side with our suppliers or on the software and tools side with our partners and participating in all test phases from simulation to flight tests on the route to the ETN200's commercial release. You will take responsibility for developing subsystems and components while ensuring their compliance with relevant safety standards.

Your main tasks are:

  • Work on developing high-payload UAV electrical and propulsion systems.

  • Work on the high-payload electric propulsion system's parametric study.

  • Modeling and simulation of network and component systems.

  • Work on technical management of electrical and propulsion system vendors or subcontractors.

  • Develop and evaluate the new power electronic controllers and motors for the ETN200 propulsion system.

  • Prepare for bench testing, run it, then analyze the results.

  • Assist in the planning, executing, and analyzing ground and air tests.

  • Carry out all functional troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • Work hands-on and perform the field testing of ETN200.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Three years of proven experience in high-powered electrical/propulsion systems development and test (enthusiastic fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

  • A communicative team player and have organizational and implementation power.

  • Ability to respond quickly, take the initiative, and operate in a solution-oriented manner.

  • Fluent English skills are essential (technical report writing and communication).

Additional Skills

  • Experience in flying a drone (e.g., DJI or Autel).
