Communication System Engineer
Job Description
You are a communication system engineer in charge of developing and testing the new communication and control link system on ETN200 for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations.
Your main tasks are:

Contribute to the Overall Development Plan and Schedule of the Communication System development.

Conduct a parametric study for the new communication and control link system for ETN200.

Work with authority to utilize the frequency spectrum of the new communication and control link system.

Propose, assess, and test the antenna concept for ETN200.

Manage the communication systems requirements, allocation, and traceability to UAV specifications.

Manage the hardware and software developments for communications systems.
-
Lead technically the subcontractors and suppliers related to communications systems.

Supervise the strategy, preparation, and execution of the system’s simulations, including bench tests, scale models, and aircraft level tests.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautic System Engineering or Electronic Communication Engineering or equivalent.

Well-versed and proven experience in data links development and test.

Knowledgeable in the field of BVLOS datalinks.

Experience with industry standards for BVLOS telemetry and commands

Experience with regulatory compliance of BVLOS links

Experience in testing BVLOS systems (bench test, scale model test, aircraft test)
-
Fluent English skills are essential (technical report writing and communication).
Additional Skills
-
Experience in flying a drone (e.g., DJI or Autel).
